The Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara starrer 'Iraivan' is slated to release on this 28th, and the censor certificate and running time information has now become available giving a shock to fans.

'Iraivan' was censored earlier this week and the CBFC has awarded an 'A' certificate with a running time of 153 minutes which means 2 hours 33 minutes. It is said that the intense psycho thriller contains high levels of violence, gore, and some murder scenes. Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara's fans have been shocked by the fact that the film has received an 'A' certificate.

The trailer of 'Iraivan' was recently released and received a good response from fans. While some have expressed shock over the certificate others are also praising director Ahmed and his team for not compromising and accepting only the two cuts made by the censor board.

'Iraivan' is produced by Passion Studios with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and stars Jayam Ravi, Nayanthara, Rahul Bose, Ashish Vidyarthi and Naren in principal roles.
