Is box performance of Iqbal taking the same shape as batting performance of Rahul Dravid?

If comparison of collections from first week to second week is any indication, then that actually seems to be the case. A Nagesh Kukunoor movie that fetched great reviews on its premiers and special previews took an ordinary to good start at the box office.

The collections after the first week were fine based upon the genre of the movie and the starcast. Thankfully no one wrote off the film and gave it a fair chance in its second week. The results showed and the movie maintained the collections of the first week even in its second week due to a good word of mouth.

This small movie is now on its way to be at least a good recovery with indications of a little profit for its makers as well. Now this is how the Rahul Dravid angle too comes in. He may not hit a six off the first ball but is 'Mr. Consistent' when on crease. Same is with Iqbal that promises to have a slow but steady and smooth ride at the box office.
