After a recent raid in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, the police came to know of an illegal trade of flesh conducted by a few businessmen and actress Swetha Basu. The police raided the whole city that night and Banjara Hills was just one of the places that got the limelight.

Her pimp Balu, was also taken into custody along with the actress and it is to be noted that a few high profile men and businessmen from Mumbai and other states were a part of this act too. Swetha has already been involved in a few compromising situations earlier and seems like she won't give up anytime soon.

She has been popular as a child actress who grew up in the media to act in movies like Iqbal` and Makdee` as well as created a good impression in South industry...We wonder how she came to this. Swetha is still being held under the care of the police until further notice.

On the other side of the story, the actress seemed to have been pushed into such situation owing to unfortunate circumstances. A statement from Swetha read thus, "I have made wrong choices in my career and i was out of money. I had to support my family and some other good causes. All the doors were closed and some people encouraged me to get into prostitution to earn money. I was helpless and with no option left to choose, i got involved in this act. I'm not the only one who faced this problem and there are several other heroines who have gone through this phase."
