The official teaser for Udhayanidhi's 'Ippadai Vellum' directed by Gaurav Narayanan was released today evening to a wide reception in social media.

Director Gaurav Narayanan whose portfolio has much famed movies like 'Thoonga Nagaram' and 'Sigaram Thodu' promises us yet another action thriller that will enthral the audience.

The 43 seconds teaser opens with the lead character played by Udhayanidhi Stalin being chased by a group of thugs. As a percussion dominated background score pulsates, the teaser shows a possible car chase action sequence and a bombing in another area at the backdrop of the tricolour flag.

The teaser nonetheless introduces the ensemble cast of the movie with shots centred on each character. And we observe a sense of serious worry,awe and anticipation on their faces not revealing the underlying motives of these people. This might promise the audiences that the director may have an interesting story that revolves around these people.

Lyca Productions is bankrolling this film which has Manjima Mohan playing the female lead while actors Raadhika, Soori, Daniel Balaji and R.K Suresh can be seen in other important roles.

Richard.M.Nathan has handled camera for the movie and K.L Praveen had done the editing. Music composer had scored the music for the film while Madhan Karky and Arunraja Kamaraj have penned the lyrics.
