The BCCI has announced the full schedule for IPL 2021 the biggest T20 league tournament in the world. The grand spectacle kickstart on April 9th in Chennai when defending champions Mumbai Indians take on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
The IPL is returning to India after nearly two years as the coronavirus pandemic forced the 2020 edition to be played in the UAE after a postponement. Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai,Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Kolkota will be hosting the 56 matches between them.
The schedule has been carefully planned so that each team has to travel only thrice during the entire tournament to reduce the risk of the virus. The Narendra Modi Stadium the newly build world's largest cricket ground will host the playoffs and as well as the finals on May 30th.
Chennai Super Kings first match will be held in Mumbai on April 10th at 7.30 pm when they will be taking on the Delhi Capitals.
