The IPL superstars Chennai Super Kings clinched their 3rd title win in the cricket carnival last month. MS Dhoni-led CSK took on Kolkata Knight Riders and won the match by 27 runs. Also, CSK registered a unique record in the match venue. CSK is the only team to win by batting first in the last 18 matches that took place in Dubai Internation Stadium.

There were reports earlier that claimed the new IPL champions will have a felicitation function in Chennai. Now, it is official that an IPL winning celebration event for the Chennai Super Kings will be held at Kalaivanar Stadium, Chennai on 20th November. The skip MS Dhoni previously stated that he will meet the fans in Chennai soon.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will grace the occasion with his presence as the chief guest. The franchise's owner N Srinivasan met CM Stalin today to present the invitation for the felicitation event. Former Indian Cricket team skipper and CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is most likely to be present at the function and celebrate the trophy with the fans.
