With the IPL 2020, the 13th edition of the tournament scheduled to be held from September in the UAE, preparations are in full swing at the CSK headquarters in Chennai. Currently, players are busy packing for tournament in the UAE from September 19.
It was said that the team will set camp in Dubai, and now in a major move it has been revealed that CSK players will be travelling without their families.
This decision has been taken considering the IPL SOPs which states that family members cannot get close to the players while training and matches.
As per the SOP players aren't allowed to interact with anybody outside bio-bubble. It has been said that this no family travel policy might be followed atleast in the initial phase. The CSK players and support staff will assemble in Chennai on August 19 before flying out to Dubai in a chartered flight.
