Internet sensation Priya is now bigger than superstars

She could be another Sai Pallavi in the making. Priya Prakash Varrier, the heroine of an upcoming Malayalam movie, has become so popular that she now commands 2.2 million followers on Instagram. Only on Sunday, she had a mere 1.87 lakh followers.

For perspective, she is only the third such celebrity in the world to debut in this behemoth way.

So, what has done the magic? Of course, it's the short video clip that you must have already watched. The video clip of the song 'Manikya Malaraya Poovi' from 'Oru Adaar Love' went viral owing to Priya's naughty expressions in the video. The school backdrop also did the trick.

Since Feb 9 when it was released, the video has been viewed 4.5 million times.
