Bollywood actress Radhika Apte has acted in several Tamil movies like the Prakash Raj directed Dhoni, Ajmal starrer Vetri Selvan and the multistarrer Chithiram Pesuthadi 2, and had become popular among Tamil audience with her performance in Superstar Rajnikanth's Kabali directed by Pa Ranjith.

Radhika Apte is starring in few Hindi movies, and she has also been a part of various international projects and also stars in web series. She has appeared in web series such as Anurag Kashyap's Sacred Games, Ghoul and is now acting in the series Shantaram.

Now, the actress has won an international recognition, as she has been nominated for her performance in the Anthology movie Lust Stories, in the Best actress category in Emmy awards 2019. Emmy Awards is an award presented for Television shows, and is seen as an equivalent of Oscars for films.
