The next installment in Rohit Shetty's ambitious cop universe, 'Sooryavanshi' is the most awaited and hyped film today. Although it was set to release in April 2020 but the pandemic didn't let that happen. Now even though the film has been delayed for a whole year, makers are still working on to find out a suitable release date.

There were speculations regarding the OTT release but the plans were scrapped. Now that the theatres are running at full capacity, fans can expect it to release pretty soon. The makers are planning to release it simultaneously in theatres and on OTT platforms. A source told SpotboyE, "Discussions are on and movie theatres may be allowed to release Sooryavanshi 24 hours ahead of the digital platform, or something similar where the two platforms get breathing space between each other.”
