Instagram craze almost cost a youngster’s life in Telangana!

The smartphone culture evolved into a necessary part of our lives nowadays. But people have to realize that mobile phones and technology can cause harm as much as they help. The internet trends, cultures and obsession affect youngsters very much. The teens get easily influenced by the toxicity.

The craze to take selfies and trending videos has cost many lives in the past. Recently, a 17-year-old boy was mortally wounded by a train from behind as he was walking very close to the track for making an Instagram reels video. This incident took place near Kazipet Railway Station in Hanamkonda district, Telangana.

The teens were trying to create an Instagram video of themselves walking close to the track. A video of the same went viral on social media. The boy was spotted walking near the track while the train was approaching him from behind. He was hit severely by the train in a matter of seconds.

The victim is identified as Chintakula Akshay Raju, an engineering student of Vaddepally village of Hanamkonda district. The boy sustained grievous injuries and was admitted to the MGM Hospital in Warangal. He suffered a serious head injury and also injuries to his leg and hand. The internet trends have almost cost his life.
