A video clip in which a middle-aged Delhi woman is seen telling young girls wearing shorts that they should be ashamed of their attire, is going viral on the Internet.  The woman went to a restaurant, where she saw a group of girls in shorts.  She told them not to wear such dresses.  When the girls followed her to a shopping mall, the woman went a step further and said that such girls who wear short dresses deserve to be raped!  

As her fate would have it, the woman's rantings and regressive comments were recorded by the girls.  They have posted the video on the Internet, letting it go viral.  

The woman has been shamed for her obnoxious mindset.  At the same time, several have called for restraint.  Says playback singer Chinmayi, "Can everyone basically go easy on the Instagram Aunty? This sort of instigated mass bullying is what happens to women with an opinion. Yes, her opinion was wrong but this hate, shaming her for her body/attire, hunting her down serves no purpose than fracturing her mental health."
