After Uyir, director Samy is ready with his next venture Mirugam. According to the director, it is based on a true story that he encountered in his life.
The film will have a new face Aadhi playing the hero. The sought-after Malluwood lass Padmapriya plays the female lead.
It is a heroine-centric film and also in the cast includes Banuchandar, Kanja Karupu and Sona. Music by Sabesh Murali.
Shooting is on at a rapid pace in a village Aayarkulam near Madurai.
