Johnny Antony's Inspector Garud went to floors recently at a gala function held at Kochi Highway Garden last week. The movie brings together Dileep and Kavya Madhavan for the record fifteenth time on the screen. Supposedly an action-packed entertainer, the movie features Dileep in the role of a cop.

At the movie launch, noted industrialist Yatheendran lit the traditional lamp in the presence of actor Mammootty, who directed the first sequence. The film has script by Udayakrishna and Sibi K Thomas. Alex Paul composes music for the songs penned by Sharatchandra Varma. Milan Jaleel produces the film.

Dileep's much awaited Chakkaramuthu, directed by Lohithadas and has got only average reviews and the fans were disappointed at the final outcome of the film. Now pressure is more on Dileep to render a hit at the earliest.

Inspector Garud now has to succeed.
