By now majority is aware that 'Familywala' is another film that has joined the fray to release this Diwali/Eid alongside 'Umrao Jaan', 'Jaaneman' and 'Don'. But not many are aware about the background of the film and how it got its title 'Familywala'.

Well, 'Familywala' is actually an old project that was earlier titled 'Dil Sachcha Chehra Jhootha' and was launched more than 2 years back. Starring the 'Deewanapan' pair of Arjun Rampal and Dia Mirza, the film was directed by Neeraj Vora who at that time had a disappointment in the form of his debut directorial vehicle 'Khiladi 420'.

The film got delayed over the period of time and even got its title changed but still the release was nowhere near the sight. Now 'Sahara One' has taken over the film and the film is turning out to be a better preposition in the market primarily because Vora has a superhit 'Phir Hera Pheri' just behind him. With story and screenplay too credited to Vora, one expects 'Familywala' to brings in the family audience and entertain them in a big way.
