Rafi is producing, directing and acting in 'Inkennallu' with a tagline Telangana Bandhalu, on the banner of Rafi's Movie.

Presently the film is shooting the climax scenes by shooting at the relay hungerstrike camp being held at the Indira Park demanding separate Telangana state by the employees. A scene was shot with a message from political JAC convener, Prof Kodandaram to the youth not to resort to suicides and with a call to the youth to fight with the government and secure separate Telangana state.

Speaking on the occasion, the director cum producer says, 'We shot the climax where a youth commits suicide by putting a note demanding separate Telangana state. It is a crucial scene in the climax. We are giving preference to explain why people were demanding a separate Telangana state. We are explaining the Telangana regional culture through this film. I am playing a key role in this film. There are nine songs in the film and we are planning to launch the audio through Aditya Music.'

Kusumanjali, Sujatha Reddy, Nagineedu, Chitram Basha, Raviteja and others are in the cast. Camera is by Amar-Venu, editing is by Sridhar, lyrics are by C Narayana Reddy, Maa Bhoomi Sandhya, Lakshmi Narayana, Kasarla Shyam, Rachamalla Seenu and Rahil, while story is by Afsar Rahul. Music, screenplay, direction and production are by Rafi.
