Actor Arun Vijay scored a superhit this year with the movie Thadam directed by Magizh Thirumeni. Thadam had Arun Vijay playing dual roles and also starred Tanya Hope and Vidya Pradeep. The actor is working on a number of movies like Boxer, Agni Siragugal and Mafia.

Recently, Arun Vijay had signed his 30th movie, currently called as AV30 which is producedby Vijaykumar's Movie Slides pvt ltd and is directed by GNR Kumaravelan who had last directed the Vikram Prabhu starrer Wagah. Recently, during the shooting of the movie, Arun Vijay got injured during an action sequence.

The actor had tweeted a photo from the sets, and tweeted "I have never felt pain when I'm hurt at work, for this is the journey I love and chose to rise and stay in.. every scar tells a story.
