Infosys CEO Sikka resigns, Pravin Rao takes charge

Quoting five reasons for resignation the Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka has walked out from the prestigious software company. Pravin Rao UB takes charge of interim Infosys CEO. Praveen is bengaluru based. He is graduated in Bengaluru University from Electrical Engineering.

Praveen was appointed to the company in 1985 by first CEO Narayanamurthy, was now Chief operating officer prior to this top position. Praveen held the BPO division President position. He had put in 30 years of service to reach this position.

The annual salary was Rs.8.14 crores earlier and in 2017 financial year he earned Rs.11.80 crores.

According to sources the hike in salary for just a few in the Infosys had irked founder CEO Narayamurthy.
