The other day, top education professionals and organizations were honoured with Indywood Education Excellence Awards 2017 at Hyderabad

On Dec 2, the prestigious Indywood Education Excellence Awards 2017 concluded successfully at Ramoji Film City. The award was organised to recognize and facilitate educationalists and Institutions for their relentless services and efforts. The Award presenters for the event were Mrs.Sandhya Puttyah Jugnauth, Ministry of Arts and Culture, Mauritius and Nanda Narrainen, Head - Film & Creative Industries.

Recognizing the contributions, outstanding services and accomplishments spanning through a career in journalism, Indywood Education Excellence Award - Life Time Achievement - Teaching was bestowed upon Prof. VivekanandanParamu, Professor, SN College; Mr. SailanathanPodian, Founder, Director and CEO of KolejMegatechwas bestowed with Life Time Achievement - Entrepreneurship; Dr. Ajith Kumar Nagpal, Chairman And Director General, Amity University was bestowed with Life Time Achievement - Leadership; Dr. S. Gurumadhva Rao, Vice Chancellor, Rak Medical Universitywas bestowed with Life Time Achievement - Academics. Special Hall of Fame - Entrepreneurship In Education was bestowed upon Mr. A. M. Gopalan, Chairman And Managing Director, SreeGokulam Group Of Companies.

Indywood Education Excellence Awards was also bestowed upon two different categories: Individual and Organisation. A Panel Discussion on How technology can enhance the quality of education` was also conducted during the ceremony. The panel member included - Dr. Mohan Rao Yadlapalli, Motivational Speaker & Personality Development Trainer ;Dr. S.V.KOTA Reddy, President - Academics, Manipal University and Dr.R.N.Shah, Director, BITS Pilani - Dubai Campus.

The discussion was ondifferent measures that can be taken to improve the quality of education in the country. The session was moderated by Mr AmarnathGoud, Founder/CEO, MY DREAM CAMPUS, MALAYSIA. Indywood EducationExcellence Awards 2017 was organized as a part of Project Indywood, a US$10 Billion Project to be initiated by a consortium of 2000 Indian corporate and Multi-Millionaires.
