One of the group members of www.indiaglitz.com popular cinema portal photo journalist R Manohar gets the Excellence award for his long career in film journalism from Indywood Film Carnival. R Manohar a freelance photo journalist received the media Excellence award with a few of his senior colleagues.

This is the 3rd edition in Karnataka from Indywood Film Carnival. Sohan Roy announced the Lifetime achievement award to senior journalist KH Savithri, editor of Cine Josh film monthly, special recognition were awarded to Mr. K. Sadashiva Shenoy, Entertainment Head, BTV News Channel.

Media excellence award was bestowed on Sunaina Suresh, Deputy Editor, Bangalore Times, Times of India, P. Sunil Kumar, Senior Reporter, Mathrubhumi, Harish Basavaraj, Film reporter, Vijayakarnataka - love Lvk, Kavya Christopher, Editor - Karnataka, Times of India Metro Supplements, S. R. Harshavardhan, Senior Reporter, Vijayavani Newspaper & Special Correspondent, Digvijaya News, Sharanu Hullur, Film Editor, Vijaya Karnataka, G.S Karthik Sudhan, Hosa Digantha Kannada Daily, Ganesh Kasaragod, Suddhi TV, Venugopal Shetty, Program Director/ Reporter, B TV news Kannada, Muralidhar, Senior Correspondent, Etv News Kannada, Vijay Koduru, Senior film journalist.

Other dignitaries who graced the press conference included veteran Israeli filmmaker Dan Wolman; N R Vishukumar, Director – IT, Government of Karnataka and Sara Govindu, President of Karnataka Film Chamber. Indywood Film Carnival 2017 shall be organized at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad from December 1 – 4, 2017.
