Indonesia is home to many serpent varieties, slithering huge pythons are certainly one of the frequently wandering reptiles. A huge python measuring almost 8 meters attacked a local villager who was patrolling a palm plantation and almost cut off his arm, he was later admitted in hospital and treated for wounds. The security guard who usually takes a liking to eating snakes tried to catch the giant python and wrap it up in a sack, however the snake took the lead first attacking him.
Hearing his cries many villagers came over and started attacking the snake, eventually killing it. The villagers soon became hungry and sliced it up for their next meal as mentioned by news agencies. Indonesia and south Asian countries are home to many pythons that go more than 18 feet in length.
