If 24hrs is more than enough to place a final verdict on the movie, one day after its release, then 24 is definitely going to be a movie, that would fit in to be called the next big thing from Tamil cinema. For a while, there haven`t been any major success stories from the industry, and for which all the major stars been trying their luck at, to be the first one to get a head start. Turns out, Surya has something to flaunt as a competition with his very new release 24. An AR Rahman musical, the film by Vikram Kumar is now being talked about all across the country, not just for its music but for a convincing script and making. The scifi movie that deals with time travel have Surya in three roles, out of which Athreyan, the abdominal villain with his peculiar customs and manners, seems to captivate the audience more. This 70crore masterpiece, is seen compared to the 150crore Vikram movie, I by director Shankar, widely by the critics, and 24 earned their appreciation for being even more awesome at a comparatively lower budget. The journey had only begun for 24, and coming days would tell if the movie that mostly have action that bends the time, would remain timeless in the history of Indian cinema.
