Indiana Jones is an iconic film franchise across the globe, which revolves around the adventures of the fictional archeologist Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones, Jr. The 80-year-old Hollywood superstar Harrison Ford reprises the legendary titular role in the fifth installment of the movie series.
Now, Indiana Jones 5 gets an official title - 'The Dial of Destiny' and the film's first trailer surfaced over the internet today. The close to 2-minute video shows an aged Dr. Jones living his life as an archeology professor but the highlight is that the trailer also shows a younger version of Indiana Jones. The storyline might possibly happen in two periods.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is coming to the cinemas on June 30, 2023. The highly anticipated movie is directed by James Mangold, who co-wrote the script with Jez Butterworth and John Henry Butterworth. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original "Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark" in 1981, is once again composing the score.
Starring along with Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Oliver Richters, Mads Mikkelsen and Ethann Isidore. It is the first film in the series not directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg nor with a story written by George Lucas.
