Human trafficking is on the rise dangerously. A 39 year old woman from Punjab who was sold as a sex slave in Oman was recently rescued. The woman who belongs to Ferozepur has revealed startling horrible facts after she has been rescued.

She has stated that there atleast 30 more women are kept as prostitutes in Oman from where she managed to escape. “I met travel agent Rahul in February through one Paramjit Kaur of Ferozepur at Alpha One mall in Amritsar. The agent promised me to get the job of domestic worker with a salary of Rs 30,000 per month in Dubai. For this, he took Rs 55,000 from me. On April 9, I went to Dubai, but from there I was sold to a sheikh in Oman, where dozens of women from Punjab were already living as sex slaves,” she stated.

She also revealed there were over 200 women from other countries who were there as sex slaves and that the sheikhs would make sex videos of them. She has also planned to meet External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to help rescue the women there.

Reportedly around 2 to 3 girls are being sent to Dubai on a daily basis from Punjab and these girls are duped by travel agents wwho promise them of jobs.
