Dr. Zakir Naik, the controversial Islamic preacher who ran away from India in 2017, has opined that Indian Muslims should form a party exclusively for their community in the wake of their alleged oppression in India. In a Facebook video, the orthodox religious teacher added that Muslims should join hands with Dalits, whom he opined are not Hindus.
"Muslims should make another party exclusively for Muslims. They should join hands with other political parties that are not fascist or communal," MoneyControl has quoted Dr. Naik as saying.
In a highly communal pitch, he added that Muslims should exercise the option of migrating to Kerala if the need be. As per him, Kerala is where people are not communal in nature.
In a big joke of sorts, Dr. Naik said that minorities are treated well in Muslim-majority countries.
