Recently, Indian Idol finalist Shanmukha Priya was given a promise by Vijay Deverakonda. The star hero said that he would give her a platform to sing for one of his upcoming movies.

The 'Arjun Reddy' actor has kept his promise and how! On Monday, the makers of 'Liger' released a video clip in which it was revealed that Priya has sung a song in the Puri Jagannadh directorial.

The 'Geetha Govindam' star made it a point to interact with Priya to know about her experience of singing for Vijay's movie. "I never expected to receive this opportunity from my favourite star. I am thrilled," the budding singer added.

“We will put on the song. It’s a nice song. I look forward to listening to it. I think I’ll listen to it the next week. I’ll ask them to send me the final mix soon,” the actor told Priya.

Coming to 'Liger', it features Ananya Pandey, Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Aali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu in other roles.
