Living in the US, 40-year-old Indian doctor Oumair Aejaz is under several major allegations including recording hundreds of pornographic movies and photographs of women and children over the previous six years. Aejaz, accused with 10 counts of different sex crimes, holds a $2 million bond. During their inquiry, authorities have seized 15 external storage devices and found almost 13,000 films on only one hard drive.
Using a work visa, internal medicine specialist Aejaz went to the US from India in 2011. After finishing his residency at Sinai Grace Hospital in Michigan, he moved to Dawson, Alabama, then back to Oakland County, Michigan, in 2018 to keep seeing patients. His employment experience consists of roles at Ascension Genesys Hospital and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
Aejaz apparently installed concealed cameras in restrooms, hospital rooms, and his own house, therefore on August 8 he was detained. Allegedly, these cameras recorded explicit video of ladies unconscious or asleep as well as young youngsters as two. Certain of these recordings might have been uploaded to cloud storage, according to authorities.
Following Aejaz's wife's alarm to law authorities, the inquiry started and several search warrants were carried out at his house. Aejaz had never had any criminal record before today.
Aejaz was formally charged with child sexually abusive behavior on August 13, collecting photographs of unclothed people, and using a computer to conduct a crime. Comparatively to the infamous Larry Nassar case, Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard said the degree of Aejaz's crimes were "vast."
