Indian cricketers attend CSK player Deepak Chahar’s wedding reception; See pictures

Indian bowling all-rounder Deepak Chahar tied the knot with his fiancée Jaya Bhardwaj in Agra on Wednesday, two days after which the couple organized a wedding reception in New Delhi for close friends and Chahar’s teammates.

The reception saw the presence of Deepak Chahar’s CSK teammates including Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, and Robin Uthappa, while several other Indian cricketers, including Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, Karn Sharma, Shardul Thakur, Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh also graced the event. Deepak Chahar had earlier shared a picture from his wedding ceremony on Instagram with the caption, “When I met you first time I felt that you are the one and I was right. We have enjoyed every moment of our life together and I promise you to keep you always happy like this. One of the best moment of my life.”

Deepak Chahar got engaged to Jaya Bhardwaj in October last year following CSK’s final league stage game against Punjab Kings in IPL 2021. The cricketer went down on his knee and proposed to her at the stands, and the video of the same went viral across social media.
