Yesterday, the Indian Cricket Team (ICT) scripted a historical victory against England at their prestigious home pitch The Lord's Stadium. The team has shared a joyful video on their social media that comprises of the players' feelings after the monumental victory. Team India is currently touring England for a test series of 5 test matches. While the first test resulted in a 'draw' due to the rain, India won the second test by a solid 151 runs.

After our bowler Shardul Thakur suffered an injury in his thigh in the first match, he was replaced by right-arm-pacer Ishant Sharma. The skipper Virat Kohli that he went for a pacer instead of spinner Ashwin Ravichandran because the tack and weather would support a fast bowler more. Well, the captain's game plan has well paid off as our pace attack pulled off an incredible heist with the bat and then a magnificent performance with the ball.

Team India scored a huge total of 364 in the first innings with our opener KL Rahul reaching a ton and reserving a spot in the glorious Lord's honor board. KL Rahul had scored 129 of 250 balls and Rohit had scored 83 out of 145 in a bad light condition. The England team batted then to outsmart our total and they ended up leading our total by 27 runs with the England Skipper Root's groundbreaking century.

In the second innings, ICT's openers and skipper Virat Kohli lost their wickets in the early sessions. When our people started to think that ICT can't even draw this match, our middle-order batsmen Pujara and Rahane secured our team from falling. They provided the stability that our team needed by Pujara earning 45 of 206 balls and Rahane earning 61 of 146 balls. Then, our pacers Shami and Bumrah took us in surprise by incredible innings when our lower order was struggling.

The tailenders played a jaw-dropping session where Shami knocked a half-century. Their quickfire innings ended with Shami scoring 56 of 70 and Bumrah scoring 34 of 64 when Virat Kohli declared. Team India has set up a target of 271 for England to score in 60 overs to win the game. And, our pacers made magic with the balls also and played with an attacking attitude. Our bowlers got early wickets of England in the initial overs itself.

Jasprit Bumrah, who was highly criticised for throwing away a high number of no-balls in the first innings, proved his worth by taking down the England team's most crucial wicket. Jasprit pocketed England Skipper Root's wicket in the much-needed time. And, then the Indian team was struggling to take down the last 3 wickets when there were only less than 10 overs left or the match would end up as a draw.

Again, our pacers Bumrah and Siraj have done magic when the spell was changed and they got to bowl in the final 10 overs. The duo took the remaining 3 wickets in just 2 overs. Talented bowler Siraj has taken down 4 wickets totally and Bumrah has taken down 3 wickets in this match. Siraj was appreciated by everyone as he is projecting exemplary skills in his 7th test match. This is a record-breaking victory for ICT.
