An Indian couple who fell to their deaths in October, off a cliff of California’s Yosemite National Park while taking a selfie, was allegedly drunk at the time of the fall, according to autopsy reports.
The autopsy reports have revealed that Vishnu Viswanath (29) and his wife, Meenakshi Moorthy (30) were "intoxicated with ethyl alcohol" during the time of the fall. However, the reports suggested that there were no traces of drugs in their bodies. Ethyl alcohol is mainly found in hard liquors, wine, and beer. The reports also said the couple had died of “multiple injuries to the head, neck, chest, and abdomen, sustained by a fall from a mountain.”
The travel-obsessed couple from Kerala had been married since 2014 and were apparently famous for their adventurous trips and the documentation of the same. They had posted several pictures from their previous ventures in the Grand Canyon, Paris, New York City, Niagara Falls, London, Big Sur, and other scenic destinations.
