Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' is all set to hit the screens on November 29 and advance ticket bookings have already started. Now arises a new problem for the film as it has been the case for all big budget star studded films in Kollywood.
From the teaser and trailer of this Shankar directed mega sci-fi adventure it is evident that the film's story deals with Mobile phones and towers. Now it has prompted the Union of Indian Cellphone Operators against the film.
They have allegedly petitioned the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to re-censor the film as it allegedly portrays mobile phones and towers in bad light. The film has already been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification with a U/A certificate.
It is not yet clear what will the Ministry's decision on this plea. We will keep you posted on whatever happens. Stay tuned to this space.
