The Hurun’s Global Rich list is out and it seems like India has managed to add 31 billionaires to its exisiting list. China has bagged the first spot with 819 billionaires and USA the third spot with 571 billionaires to boast of.
Although Mukesh Ambani remains the top billionaire within the country, it is worth noting here that Gautam Adani’s wealth has more than doubled growing by 109%. The total number of Indian billionaires in the list is 131. Shradha Agarwal of Outcome Wealth is the youngest billionaire of India. The rise in the number of Indian billionaires is owed to an efficient performance in the stock market last year.
Jeff Bezos of Amazon(USD 123 Billion) is the richest person of the world, with Berkshire Hathaway’s Warren Buffet(USD 102 Billion), Microsoft’s Bill Gates(USD 90 Billion) and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg (USD 79 Billion) following suit.
With most people having just gone a day past payday, this is sure to give some existential crisis, or a call for action on your behalf!
