Indian cricketer and Mumbai Indians all-rounder Jayant Yadav, who hails from Haryana, has tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Disha Chawla. The player took to social media to share pictures from the ceremony.
The news of the wedding was first revealed by Yadav's Haryana teammate Yuzvendra Chahal. Sharing a picture of the couple, the Indian spinner wrote, "Congratulations Jayant & Disha." The cricketer has played four Test matches and one ODI for India. Jayant Yadav took part in the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Mumbai Indians, where he dismissed Shikhar Dhawan in their match against Delhi Capitals, contributing to the team lifting their fifth IPL title. The all-rounder was also retained by Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL player auction. He was last seen in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he took seven wickets from the six matches he played.
Jayant Yadav became the first batsman in India to score a century after coming in to bat at number 9. His partnership with Indian skipper Virat Kohli of 241 runs for 8th wicket is reportedly the second best in the world. The all-rounder was also named as the captain of India's team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in December 2018.
