As reported earlier by us the set work for Kamal Haasan's next movie 'Indian 2' began last Sunday by production designer T. Muthuraj and is going on in Chennai in time for a mid-December start of the shooting. It is said that the film directed by Shankar will be a multistarrer with talks on with Simbu, Dulquer Salman, Nayanthara and Kajal Agarwal.

The chief antagonist's role was first offered to Ajay Devgan who had to back out at the last minute due to prior commitments. It is now said that Shankar has approached Akshay Kumar for the role. Akshay Kumar is playing the main villain opposite Superstar Rajinikanth in '2.0' and since it is the same director and producer Lyca Productions for 'Indian 2' also one can expect him to sign the dotted lines soon. Let's wait for the official confirmation on this one.
