The question on everyone's lips is when Kamal-Shankar's 'Indian 2' will go on floors again. The magnum opus sequel to the pan Indian blockbuster hit 'Indian' started a few months ago but stopped after a few days due to unknown reasons. In the ensuing months, rumours started spreading that Lyca Productions backed out of the project and that the projec has been shelved.

However the good news came a few days earlier that all is well with the 'Indian 2' camp and even Superstar Rajinikanth in the 'Kaappaan' audio launch confirmed that the film is very much on. We now have the information from reliable sources that Shankar has chosen locations in Rajamundhry in Andra for the first phase of shooting and the dates of various actors and technicians have been blocked from the 19th of August.

Kamal Haasan will complete his hosting duties for 'Bigg Boss 3' and will start to don the Senapathy getup again. 'Indian 2' has music by Anirudh and a stellar cast that includes Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Aishwarya Rajesh, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Siddharth.
