The second schedule of Shankar's 'Indian 2' is currently underway in Rajahmundry in Andhra in the Central jail where Kamal Haasan is also participating along with Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh and Siddharth. It has been reported during the weekend that A.M. Ratnam has quit the production of this film.

A.M. Ratnam is the producer of the original 'Indian' directed by Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan, Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar and Gaundamani. Our source has stated that since Ratnam holds the title rights of the film, Lyca Productions planned to use his services in a coordinating capacity. However, the producer of such super hits like 'Khushi', 'Ghilli', 'Yennai Arindhaal' and 'Vedaalam' has decided not to take any part in 'Indian 2' as he is getting busy on the pre-production work for a mega project starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role.
