Major accident at 'Indian 2' sets - 3 killed and several injured

A major accident on the sets of 'Indian 2' has reportedly claimed three lives and several others injured with director Shankar having a lucky escape with minor injuries. The incident happened at around 9.30 pm and Kamal reportedly made arrangements for the injured to be immediately rushed to the nearby Savitha hospital.
The shooting of 'Indian 2' has been going on in full swing at the EVP Studios near Poonamallee Chennai with Kamal and Kajal Aggarwal participating. Initial reports say that a heavy light that was placed on a 150 feet crane crashed onto a tent under which Shankar and his assistants were sitting and watching the scenes on an LED monitor.
Sources have informed us that Shankar's personal assistant Madhu (29), assistant director Krishna (34) and Chandran (60) a set assistant are the deceased.
