‘Indian 2’ – What happened so far and next plan revealed

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is returning as the independence era vigilante Senapathy in ‘Indian 2’ the sequel to his pan Indian blockbuster hit ‘Indian’ released in 1996.  After several delays, the project went on floors a few weeks back in Chennai and Shankar and his team has successfully completed the first schedule of shooting.  Scenes involving Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh and a high octane fight sequence choreographed by Peter Hein involving Kamal as Indian thathaa (grandfather) was also canned in a location in Valasaravakkam Chennai.

According to sources close to the team the next schedule will take place in Rajamundhry and other areas in Andhra Pradesh.  Sequences in which Kamal will appear as a young man are also expected to be shot next.  The 200 Crores rupees budgeted ‘Indian 2’ produced by Lyca Productions has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Rathnavelu and production design by T. Muthuraj.  The cast includes Kamal Haasan, Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vivek and Vidyut Jamwal.
