Over the past few days, several media reports have claimed that 'Indian-2' will be a two-part series. The Kamal Haasan-Shankar behemoth is produced by Lyca Productions of '2.0' fame. The production house, as per a report on Thursday, has got no plans to release 'Indian-2' in two parts.

India Today has reported that the movie will be a one-part outing. It quoted a spokesperson of Lyca as saying that the speculation is baseless. "The editing works are progressing at a brisk pace and hopefully, the shoot will resume post lockdown," the report adds.

The film has got music by Anirudh. A political-action thriller, it has got 'Bommarillu' Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in other roles.

In February, a tragic accident on a set of the film at Chennai's EVP Film City consumed 10 precious lives and injured many.
