Kamal Haasan is all set to join the shooting of 'Indian 2' once again after his two-month break for surgery to his leg. In the meantime director, Shankar continued to shoot with other actors. Now all the action is going to be at the EVP Film City on the outskirts of Chennai where huge sets have been erected by Production Designer T. Muthuraj.

According to our sources the current shooting schedule of 'Indian 2' will go on nonstop for more than fifty days. The scenes have Kamal in a new getup with Kajal Aggarwal joining him and Shankar has banned the use of cellphones from the sets to protect from any leaks. It is said that a major action sequence will be shot first followed by the emotional period portions.

'Indian 2' produced on a grand scale by Lyca Productions has music score by Anirudh Ravichander. The stellar starcast includes Kamal, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Siddharth and Vivek among others. Shooting is expected to wrap up by October and then after extensive graphics work in post-production. The release is expected in the second half of 2021.
