Two actors to get replaced in Kamal Haasan-Shankar’s Indian 2 star cast? – Buzz

Indiaglitz already brought you the news that Ulaga Naayagan Kamal Haasan and ace director Shankar’s long-delayed project ‘Indian 2’ is likely to be resumed soon. The film has started showing signs of revival as the makers have sorted out their issues with the director.

Indian 2 is the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster by the Kamal-Shankar duo. The film’s shooting was stopped after an unexpected accident that occurred on the sets in February last year, then COVID-19 which was then followed by the issue between director Shankar and Lyca Productions. Now, the shooting is said to be resumed by December, reportedly.

Meanwhile, the hot buzz in the K-town is that the makers of Indian 2 are searching for Kajal Aggarwal’s role. The talented actress is reportedly playing an elderly role in the film and she underwent heavy makeup for the same. Kajal is rumoured to be pregnant and she is staying away from the limelight.

So, the speculations are that Kajal might get replaced by some other actress. However, there is no authentic confirmation in this regard. Also, late comedy actor Vivek was all set to share screen space with Aandavar Kamal Haasan in Indian 2 but Vivek passed away earlier this year, unfortunately. The production house is looking for a replacement for him too.

The sequel’s star cast also includes Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Aishwarya Rajesh, Siddharth and veteran actor Delhi Ganesh. Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring music for the film and bankrolled by Subaskaran of Lyca Productions. Ravi Varman is taking care of the visuals of Indian 2.
