How Shankar had a miraculous escape at 'Indian 2' accident

The tragic accident that occurred on the sets of 'Indian 2' has raised a lot of questions regarding the safety of the crew while involved in these types of dangerous work to entertain others. We spoke to an inside source who informed that the heavy-duty floodlight was placed on the gigantic crane and shots were being canned. Once it was completed it was required for the light to be shifted from one side to the opposite side and that was when the crane broke and came crashing down killing three people Chandran, Madhusudhanan and Sri Krishna.
The source said that Shankar was monitoring the shot on a LED display inside a tent-like arrangement and Sri Krishna and other AD's were also around. According to the source when the crane came crashing down a heavy cloth fell on Shankar and he lost his balance and moved away and that is how he was saved in the nick of time. It is said that the ace director sustained minor injuries but no fractures as it was widely reported initially.
Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal and Lyca Productions have released statements expressing shock over the unfortunate incident and insisted solidarity towards those injured.
