Its been three weeks since the tragic accident occurred at the 'Indian 2' shooting spot in EVP Film City on the outskirts of Chennai which claimed three lives after an industrial crane holding a huge light collapsed. Director Shankar, Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal had a miraculous escape. Kamal had written a letter to Lyca Productions that he and the other crew members will not report back to shoot unless all safety measures were taken by the production house. The producers had replied that Kamal and Shankar too are responsible as the film is growing under their vision and creativity.
Now the shooting of 'Indian 2' has reportedly resumed but both Kamal and Shankar are not on sets. It is a song that is shot abroad with Kajal Aggarwal and Shankar's assistant directors are supervising. It is said that later Kamal's portions will be shot and added to the footage. It is still unknown when the hero and the director of the mega film will get back to work on this ambitious film.
