Here is indiaglitz's weekly roundup where the news that rocked the media throughout the week have been put together for you, just in case you missed it.
Coming back from a week full of Jallikattu protests and an all round support from Kollywood, this week plunged into normalcy but only after a short lived turbulence. Interesting news including Suriya's C3 movie updates, latest information on 'Thalapathy61' and Superstar's '2.0' schedule satiated our curiosity.
The week's start saw an unprecedented turn of events as the peaceful Jallikattu protests met an unpleasant ending as the Police lathi charged the protesterswhich made TN look like a free-for-all arena while traffic halted for hours.
Much expected Singam 3, or C3 in short, was scheduled for release on the January 26th. But, owing to the then ongoing protests, the makers of the movie put off its release.
Padma Shri awardee Kamal Haasan called a press meet at his residence at Alwarpet, Chennai where he spoke of his dread of seeing policemen committing arson, and also expressed his nationalist opinions.

Music composer-cum-actor Vijay Antony is on a streak after his big hits 'Pichaikkaran' and 'Saithan'. Word was out that Mr. Antony's next will be directed by Kiruthiga Udayanidhi who made her directorial debut in 2013 with her film 'Vanakkam Chennai'.
