Kutramae Thandanai
ÂKaaka Muttai Manikandan made this minimalist thriller with his own assured way and his brilliant use of the camera to convey much of the story is what makes him stand apart. Hope hero and producer Vidharth was rewarded with a profit for his sincere efforts in both capacities.

Manikandan once again figures in the top list and kudos to him for infusing so much humor into this message driven gem. Vijay Sethupathi as usual rocked as the everyday hero and ensured the box office draw to become a super hit.

Raju Murugan stunned everyone by delivering one of the best ever social satires in Tamil cinema and in Guru Somasundaram he found the perfect hero who made the role of the President his own. Audiences loved it and the box office was more than satisfied.
