The election season saw a low turnout in Hyderabad, but the Telugu film industry celeb made his presence felt. From former parliamentarian and Megastar Chiranjeevi to Mahesh Babu, NTR, Allu Arjun and others, they all cast their votes early on.

'BAN trumps 'Aravindha Sametha' & 'Rangasthalam' on Twitter

The top 10 Twitter hashtags in India for the year 2018 was out in the week. Three Telugu films found their place in the list. Mahesh Babu's 'Bharat Ane Nenu' is at No. 3, followed by 'Aravindha Sametha' (at No. 4) and 'Rangasthalam' (at No. 5).

Pawan richest Telugu hero; NTR, Mahesh & others too in Forbes list

Forbes magazine released the list of richest Indian celebs for 2018. Pawan Kalyan was ranked at No. 24 in the list. His earnings are estimated to be Rs 31.33 Cr. He is the richest among all Telugu heroes for the year 2018. At No. 28 is Jr NTR with earnings of Rs 28 Cr. Mahesh Babu is at No. 33. His earnings are pegged at Rs 24.33 Cr. Nagarjuna (No. 36), Allu Arjun (No. 64), Ram Charan and Vijay Deverakonda (No. 72) were also in the list.

NTR doesn't get time for sister:

Nandamuri Suhasini didn't have NTR campaigning for her in Kukatpally. With NTR busily shooting for the RRR movie and shaping up for it, he couldn't canvass for his sister.

Anasuya trolled for 'spoiling' Mahanati's song

Anasuya Bharadwaj committed a blasphemy as far as her trolls are concerned. She imitated Mahanati Savitri's iconic 'Aha Naa Pelliyanta' act from 'Maya Bazar' in a commercial for a textiles brand and it led to some heavy trolling. Scores of them came out with memes and GIFs to express their shock at what the 'Jabardasth' host had dared to attempt.

Mahesh Babu AMB Cinemas stuns visitors

The inaugural of AMB Cinemas saw the attendance of several Tollywood celebrities. They were visibly stunned by the glossy and opulent ambience. From RGV to others, they all went gaga over to. Glowing reviews have been gifted by patrons.

Priyanka's marriage sees controversies

After Priyanka Chopra married, 10 truckloads of crackers were burnt outside the venue of her wedding. Many trolled her for being hypocritical. She is against the burning of pollution-causing fireworks. Secondly, PETA questioned her over the use of a horse and an elephant for riding after the Hindu-style wedding.

Keerthy Suresh pens a love letter to legend

Marking the occasion of Savitri's birthday, Keerthy Suresh wrote a love letter to the late actress, thanking her for changing her life (courtesy 'Mahanati', the film). "This is to you, a legend who will be remembered for ever and ever. You chose us, showered with your love and blessings, gave us all the energy and positivity to fight and cross all the borders and get here," the 'Sarkar' actress wrote.

Fight between RGV & Puri over Pawan Kalyan? RGV speaks

As per a daily, RGV and Puri Jagannadh have not been on talking terms over the former getting Sri Reddy abuse Pawan Kalyan's mother earlier this year. So much so that the 'Mehbooba' director is not allowing the 'Sarkar' director in his compound (either office or residence) to promote 'Bhairava Geetha', a report said. RGV rubbished the report, saying that he is close with Puri as he has always been. He called it "Fake news".
