Daniel Jarvis, also known as Jarvo invaded the pitch once again on the third day of the third Test between India and England in Leeds on Friday. The incident happened after Indian opener Rohit Sharma was dismissed.
Jarvis walked in padded up as a batsman of the Men In Blue and looked to take strike as he managed to breach security and reach the middle of the pitch before the security personnel rushed in and took him off. He had earlier walked in as a fielder of the Indian team in the second Test at the Lord's Cricket Ground.
The security had to bring their four-five men to drag him off the field but Jarvo again tried to convince them that he is an Indian player.India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin reacted to 'Jarvo 69' invading pitch for the second match in a row. Ashwin tweeted, "Today’s play was as good as it can get with Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Jarvo showing great intent and grit! Keep going fellas and stop doing this Jarvo."
Coming back to the match, India did not get off to an ideal start. The score read 215/2 -- still trailing by 139 runs with eight wickets in hand with Pujara (91*) and Kohli (45*) at the crease
Today’s play was as good as it can get with @ImRo45 @cheteshwar1 @imVkohli and Jaarvo showing great intent and grit!?????? Keep going fellas and stop doing this Jaarvo. #IndvsEng

What is this behaviour, groundsmen? You people cannot just take away our main player away every now and then. That's not fair!! #ENGvIND | #Jarvo | #Cricket pic.twitter.com/CiOWrjXCIw
