With wickets tumbling at one end, Shaun Marsh blazed a stunning century 131(123), and with a Much needed knock by Maxwell 48(37) helped Aussies reach 298/9 with Bhuvaneshwar Kumar having figures of 4/45. Chasing 299, India started off well with Rohit Sharma scoring 43(52) and Shikhar Dhawan scoring 32(28) before Stoinis and Behrendorf removed them.
Rayudu 24(36) and skipper Virat Kohli maintained a partnership before the former departed, while the king of chases Kohli scored a massive, match-winning century scoring 104(112). King of finishes, Dhoni joined Dinesh Karthik, and the duo kept calm as India ultimately reached 299/4, winning the match by 6 wickets, with 4 balls to spare, and Dhoni scored an unbeaten 55(54)* and Karthik scored 25(14)*.
