The fourth test of the ongoing Border Gavaskar trophy at the Gabba ended with aj epic victory as India defeated the Aussies by 3 wickets. This ended Australia's 32 years winning streak at the ground as well.
Chasing 328 on the last day of the test, Shubman Gill scored a powerful 91 before falling short of a century. Cheteshwar Pujara scored a resilient 56, and followed by his wicket, the young Rishabh pant stood firm despite losing wickets at the other end.
While Washington Sundar chipped in with a cameo of 22, even as Mayank Agarwal and Shardul Thakur departed, Rishabh Pant played a confident, steady knock destroying the morale of Aussie bowlers and ended with a match winning knock of 89(138)* leading India to a massive 2-1 series win.
