Indias first general-neutral toilet

The Indian School of Development Management became the first private institution in the country to build a gender-neutral toilet in its campus. The step was taken following a transgender student of the institution brought to attention the problem of choosing between male and female washrooms.

The toilet which was inaugurated earlier this month could be used by anybody irrespective of their gender. The founder of the institution Gaurav Shah also has stated that they are sensitising and educating students, staff and faculty about the proper usage of the toilet.
